a few weeks ago we attended the abc kids expo in las vegas. this is where pretty much anyone and everyone in the baby/kids industry meets up to see what’s new for the coming year. i love this show because it is a great chance to catch up with my favorite vendors, find new and exciting products, and get excited about what’s to come! i thought i would share with you some of my finds from the show and products you should start seeing around the store and on the web shop.
monte’s new bassinet rocked our world, literally! the walnut rockers are absolutely beautiful. newport cottages launched the new “hilary” collection, named after yours truly, which was exciting to see for all the obvious reasons. their new light grey and dark grey stains are unbelievable, mostly because you can still see the wood grain. swoon. pehr designs was one i was really looking forward to seeing in person and their knit mobiles did not disappoint. stokke’s sleepi mini, which is a bassinet that transforms into a crib, was most impressive. it comes in 4 colors and seems like the perfect way to just spending the money on a bassinet. nook’s newest product is also coming in its newest color. the niche feeding pillow meets pacific blue! i have been looking for a cool sustainable toy line that could double as nursery decor and boy did i find it in plan toys. their balancing cactus would make the perfect addition to any floating shelf.
stokke’s tripp trapp high chair amazed me because your child can use it forever. it starts as a high chair at 3 months and ultimately turns into a desk chair, genius! nursery works really stepped up their game when they introduced new fabrics for the sleepytime and empire rockers. they now offer a variety of wovens and patterns with light and dark legs.
i met the team from lucy darling and instantly fell in love with them and their products. these closet dividers are so adorable and so practical i have no doubt they will be a huge success.
all in all the show was a huge success and i can’t wait for you to see all the new goods in person.
